November is traditionally holiday season for some of European countries including Egypt itself celebrating big Muslim holiday Eid. Besides it is getting winter cold in most of the places and that is the main reason why there is bigger flow of visitors to Dahab craving for some sunshine & summer fun. We receive here not just tourists but mainly sporty good looking people full of energy and enthusiasm, I would even say courageous and free spirit, as those who choose Kiteboarding ought to be.
We having become local in Dahab are always happy to welcome new comers and frequent guests at our station, as this is truly a group of sole mates and good buddies. It is very easy to make friends or find interesting acquaintances here in Dahab, who have all kind of occupations in their home lives but once they visit here they all become wind hunters and regardless of their job positions they want to call themselves surfers and this brings us all close together . Most favourite topics for discussion appear to be as follows: “Strong wind today, aint” or “How was the ride?”, “Which size did you take?”, and of course “I saw you…”, “Did you see me…”. Here it is, kiteboarding – is not only cool and athletic it is also possibility to meet nice people and make friends. Try and you see for yourself)
In addition kiters are party croud, It’s PROVEN. Many of them are funny, easy going and loooove to dance because kiteboarding is like a dance. November happened to be a party month from the start. Public holidays in Russia and some other European countries – a few days of happiness especially for those who managed to fly down here to kite. We also happened to have a few birthday guys so party everyday.
Many who come to Dahab often ask what to do after sunset when kites are stored away. Here is our answer)) In addition to hotel entertainment in main lagoon you can go to town called Maasbat 10 minutes by car. There you can try local bedouine cuisine and other in the restaurants on downtown embankment. Or try various flavors of waterpipe and after 10 pm hit the dancing places. Bellow you will find list of weekly events of our resort town, but be sure to ask us at the station one more time when you visit as we are usually well aware of what’s shaking around here) Besides we throw nice regular parties at the station and dance to good music. Bring your music too!!!
